In Los Angeles were awarded the SAG Awards, the cinema awards given by the US actors’ union (SAG, Screen Actors Guild) to other actors and stunters. The SAG Awards, therefore, do not reward films, directors, costumes or sets, but only the best interpretations of actresses and actors in 16 different categories: six are for cinema, nine for television and then there is a career award that this year has been awarded to Alan Alda The SAG Awards, which have existed for 25 years, have over time become a sort of preview of the Oscars, because they allow us to guess what are the preferences of many experts and workers in the sector. This year the most important award, the one for the Best cast, went to Black Panther, while the awards for Best Actress and Best Actor have gone to Glenn Close for The Wife – Living in the Shadow and Rami Malek for Bohemian Rhapsody, the film about Freddie Mercury’s life.
