The futuristic fashion thriller in the new “Colored” campaign
The future has already arrived “- recently we hear this phrase more and more often, despite the perturbations and tectonic changes taking place around all spheres of life. Tsvetnoy Department Store has placed the heroes of the new autumn-winter campaign in an attic of glass, fragile, like today’s world, in the shape of a cube. In minimalist interiors with Italian furniture in the Krassky salon, a thriller film is shown in front of us, but thanks to the ability to feel the time and the ingenuity of its creators , with a happy ending.Sometimes, in order to influence reality, it is necessary to go back in time – this is proved not only by the autumn-winter campaign of Tsvetnoy department stores, but also by the entire fashion industry.
Proof of this are the retro silhouettes from the Jacob Lee collection, the wide-shoulder jackets straight from the 1980s by Mugler and I Am Studio, and the heavy earrings and flagella from Vintage Dream worn thirty years ago. However, those who change reality do not forget the future, using technological and textured fabrics, like Vika Gazinskaya, experimenting with skintight suits like WOS and sets where all things blend together due to the print – like Richard Quinn. Novice designers have demonstrated their vision of what fashion should be today, creating distinctive and complex dresses that will make anyone stand out from the crowd – they were written by graduates of the BA (Hons) British Bachelor fashion program at British Higher School of Design Kiryakova Tatyana, Elizaveta Prokhorova, Min E Hong and Pyatakova Anastasia. Iconic Russian designers such as Vika Gazinskaya, WOS, Arctic Explorer, Ruban, Tigran Avetisyan and Viva Vox have also created dresses in their iconic style especially for the department store’s advertising campaign.
This year the department store turns 10 – on this occasion Tsvetnoy offers a rich fashion and entertainment program for the foreseeable future. For its anniversary, the department store has prepared a series of collaborations with global brands, some of which were presented in the summer season – Tsvetnoy x Andy Wolf and PUMA x Regina Turbina for Tsvetnoy, and other projects will be shown before the end of the year.
