“Revelations”: the new film by David LaChapelle and Daphne Guinness

A collaboration that has lasted for 20 years, based on love for nature, spirituality and creativity. From which today an art film in three parts is born. We present the first video exclusively, entitled “Heaven” They met by chance, 20 years ago, thanks to their mutual friend Isabella Blow, at El Coyote, the famous Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles. Daphne Guinness and David LaChapelle have since created an extraordinary creative universe. During the quarantine, the two worked on “Revelations”, a three-part music video (although ‘art film’ is perhaps a more accurate definition), in conjunction with the release of Daphne’s single of the same name.
But for Daphne’s new single, titled “Heaven” – an exuberant and hypnotic disco track – the two explore the symbiosis between extravagance, decadence and divinity. Borrowing iconic moments from the movie “Sunset Boulevard ‘, but revisited in pure LaChapelle style (the famous punchline” Mr. Demille, I’m ready for my close-up “-” Here I am De Mille, I’m ready for my first floor “, ed – becomes” Mr. Demille, I’m ready for my fruit cup “).
“Heaven” is a beautiful, and necessary, injection of serotonin.
