The series will be available in all countries where the service is active from January 8, 2021. In addition to Omar Sy, the cast will include Hervé Pierre, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Shirine Boutella and Soufiane Guerrab .

The series was created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan and directed by Louis Leterrier (episodes 1, 2 and 3) and Marcela Said (episodes 4 and 5). The first part – Dans l’ombre d’Arsène will consist of 5 episodes. The series was produced by Gaumont Télévision (Isabelle Degeorges, Nathan Franck). The series will be a new adaptation of the adventures of the famous gentleman thief born from the writer’s pen Maurice Leblanc. At the time of the announcement, Omar Sy had commented: I am happy to play a charismatic character like Arsène Lupine in this modern and unexpected adaptation. Being part of Netflix, which has already hosted so many quality projects of all kinds, and which I always love to discover, is a great inspiration for me. ( Courtsey Netflix)
