Black Widow postponed the film with Scarlett Johansson
The news has come that Marvel Studios has decided to postpone Black Widow, a film that would have seen the beautiful Scarlett Johansson return in the role of the heroine for a stand alone film set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers : Infinity War that should have shed light on the past of the character still shrouded in mystery at least as regards the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The decision is unfortunately but understandably dictated by the Coronavirus contagion prevention measures that all European and non-European countries are starting more or less quickly to adopt, including the closure of cinemas.Black Widow is the latest in a series of sensationally slipped films that will crowd cinemas, hopefully as soon as possible, including Fast & Furious 9, No Time to Die,
In recent days the protagonist Scarlet Johansson had been interviewed by EW and had talked about the character’s path saying that after shooting this stand alone, Natasha’s path is from a certain point of view complete having offered different perspectives on the character. The actress obviously hadn’t ruled out a possible return as the spy par excellence of the Marvel Universe, but also that this film represents in fact an important point of arrival. Black Widow with Scarlett Johansson for now remains confirmed in the room will not be streaming on Disney We consider Black Widow still a theatrical release.
