Dior to Stage Show in Shanghai for Women’s Pre-Fall Collection
Maria Grazia Chiuri brings pre-fall 2021 to the catwalk: the show in Shanghai On April 12, the Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai will host the pre-fall 2021 presented digitally last December.
A collection with a high energy rate, in which the codes of Monsieur Christian Dior are filtered through the pop lens of Elio Fiorucci’s world, with artistic references to Andy Warhol, Richard Hamilton and Marco Lodola. The protagonists are colorful and animalier garments, such as the coat created for one of the couturier’s friends and muses, the eccentric Mizza Bricard, to open the doors to a new positivity.
For Dior, whose event will coincide with Shanghai Fashion Week (from 6 to 13 April), the location is nothing new: at the Long Museum it had already walked with Dior Men in 2014 and in this space last year it was The Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition was set up, after the stops at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
