With a photograph of a packaged clapperboard, director Matt Reeves announces the end of filming for The Batman on Twitter. The film’s production was troubled, interrupted in March 2020 due to the rapid spread of Covid, resumed in September and suspended again because the protagonist Robert Pattinson had tested positive for the virus. It will not be long before we will have the chance to see another content from the film, probably a new teaser trailer that will give us a new taste of the atmosphere and the effect of seeing Pattinson as Bruce Wayne aka the Dark Knight.
We know that not everyone is happy that after Christian Bale and Ben Affleck the new Batman is Robert Pattinson, but we must give the benefit of the doubt to the project, not get sucked into the maelstrom of prejudices and wait to see him before expressing an opinion. We remind you that in the cast of the film there are also Paul Dano, Zoe Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Peter Sarsgaard, John Turturro and Jeffrey Wright.Batman will investigate some mysterious deaths in Gotham City and will have to dig deep into the darkness of the metropolis to uncover clues and solve a possible conspiracy linked to the history of Gotham and its criminals. The cast will also find Zoë Kravitz (Selina Kyle), Paul Dano (Edward Nashton), Jeffrey Wright (James Gordon), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Peter Sarsgaard (Gil Colson), Jayme Lawson (Bella Reál), Andy Serkis (Alfred ) and Colin Farrell (Oswald Cobblepot / Penguin).
