Murder on the Nile of Kenneth Branagh postponed
The ‘sequel’ to ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ has been postponed to February 2022. And there are those who think it has been decided to ‘kill’ its most uncomfortable protagonist
Next to the character, protagonist of the film, Kenneth Branagh, in the role of investigator Hercule Poirot, we will find Gal Gadot (Linnet Ridgeway Doyle), Letitia Wright (Rosalie Otterbourne), Armie Hammer (Simon Doyle), Annette Bening (Euphemia), Ali Fazal , Sophie Okonedo, Tom Bateman, Emma Mackey, Dawn French, Rose Leslie, Jennifer Saunders, Russell Brand.
In the aftermath of the outbreak of the storm that hit Armie Hammer, many are wondering what will happen to Murder on the Nile and especially if the actor will be replaced and the film re-edited. In the same article it is stated that “a source close to a first montage of Assassination on the Nile” states that the part of Armie Hammer is so significant that it almost makes him the protagonist of the film and that therefore Disney has no intention of re-shooting Hammer entrusting the role to another actor. In short, Murder on the Nile, at least for now, will not suffer the same fate as All the Money in the World, in which Kevin Spacey was replaced at the last minute by Christopher Plummer, forcing Ridley Scott to partially reassemble the film.
Armie Hammer denies the wrongdoing of which he has been accused, but we know that Hollywood hardly forgives and does not forget the scandals.
