From the announced victory of «Nomadland» to the surprise triumph of Frances McDormand and Anthony Hopkins, here are all the winners of the 2021 Oscars

To triumph without too many surprises is Nomadland, the Golden Globe-winning film that brings the Venice Film Festival back to the center of the most glittering evening in Hollywood four years after the exploit of The Shape of Water by Guillermo Del Toro. The predictions were also respected for Chloé Zhao, who becomes the second woman after Kathryn Bigelow and the first Asian to win for best director; for Daniel Kaluuyah, who won Best Supporting Actor for Judas and the Black Messiah; for Yuh-Jung Youn, the first Korean actress to win the Best Supporting Actress statuette for Minari; and for Emerald Fennell, The Crown’s Camilla Parker Bowles who, thanks to A Promising Woman, her debut film as a director, wins for Best Original Screenplay. Chloé Zhao triumphs hands down after winning the Golden Globe and the Bafta for Nomadland, the film on American nomadism that won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and which will arrive on April 30 on Star, Chloé Zhao is the second woman after Kathryn Bigelow and the first of Asian origin to win the statuette for Best Director for “Nomadland”: “I dedicate the award to all those who have the courage to keep faith with the goodness they have within themselves”  Photo Courtsey ©A.M.P.A.S.
