Oscars 2021 after parties: the best fashion

Oscars 2021 after parties See all the celebrity style after hours

Much like last night’s Academy Awards ceremony, the after-party guestlist for the Oscars certainly didn’t disappoint in terms of style. On the red carpet, we were treated to some impactful celebrity looks, including Carey Mulligan a voluminous golden gown, Zendaya in glow-in-the-dark Valentino, Vanessa Kirby in blush pink Gucci and Andra Day in slinky Vera Wang – who all nodded to Hollywood glamour (see our list of the best dressed at last night’s awards, here). Across the board, the midriff was the unexpected star of the 2021 Oscars red carpet, with Zendaya, Mulligan, Kirby, and Day all wearing gowns which featured cut-out panels that showed off their abs.

As well as fashion, we had some memorable beauty moments, too. From Kirby’s blood-red lips to Halle Berry’s dramatic hair transformation, Amanda Seyfried’s classic old Hollywood glamour to Regina King’s sleek bob, there was a lot to take in and it felt like a return to an awards season pre-pandemic (see all the glamour up close here with the best beauty looks of the night).

Luckily for us, the statement celebrity ensembles didn’t stop when the ceremony was over. We were also treated to some celebrity party looks too from the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party and Spring Place’s Oscars Party for Andra Day and The United States Vs. Billie Holiday cast.
