Lewis Hamilton wins the Spanish Grand Prix with a two-stop strategy

Lewis Hamilton winning the Spanish Grand Prix at the Montmelò circuit in Barcelona. The Briton in the Mercedes leaves behind Max Vestappen, who commands for large sections of the race but has to surrender a few laps from the end. Bottas’ other Mercedes completes the podium. Leclerc closes in fourth position.

After a great challenge with Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton won the last Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship, giving a nice “shoulder” to the Dutch rival of Red Bull. Third place on the podium for a disappointing Valtteri Bottas, followed by Charles Leclerc and “Checo” Perez. Next appointment in two weeks, in Monte Carlo, for the great classic of Monaco. The Principality will return to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix after last year’s forced break due to Covid19.
